As a native German living in Seattle, I have been to all German restaurants in town. There are not many, and my favorite is the Feierabend. This neighborhood Kneipe(pub) has the best atmosphere. Their menu is small but excellent, and their beer selection is incredible. Feierabendmeans “quitting time” (as in after work) and literally translates to “celebrating evening.” It is conveniently located in South Lake Union.
