Did you know that in 1953, the International Federation of Translators declared September 30th to be International Translation Day? And in 2017, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution to officially declaring this day International Translation Day to recognize the role of professional translators in connecting nations.

In today’s global world, the work of translators and interpreters is ubiquitous. While we work mostly invisible to the general public, a huge amount of work is being performed by translators and interpreters before a simple product like a smartphone is available on the market.
